What is Social Clarity?

If nothing else, let’s be clear about ONE thing: internet marketing companies and individuals [experts; self professed or otherwise] need to work tirelessly on a daily basis to understand the digital needs of businesses and not quite so digitally savvy people out there in every industry in every corner of the world [although we do know the world is round]. Please please please all register and join in to we can create a really USEFUL place to learn not just pontificate.

Social Clarity is a research programme for:

Business professionals to be able to voice their fears and frustrations about the internet and all the things they really don’t understand.

Internet marketing and technical professionals to understand and address these fears and frustrations providing simple solutions to potentially complex situations.

Our mission is to bridge the knowledge and understanding gap between both parties.

Social Clarity aims to build a community of extreme value to business people and professional internet marketing teams.

At all times we will endeavour to provide the latest news on the best that Social Media has to offer from widgets to words.

We really would like as much input as possible from social media experts who have experience that they would like to share with business people who don’t understand as much as they do and would hugely benefit from their knowledge.

We urge business to post their questions and engage as much as possible allowing the people who provide the solutions learn and grow from those who really need their services.

We also urge you to PLEASE keep everything as simple as possible. No jargon and wherever jargon is unavoidable please explain clearly.

I am not an expert in anything, except perhaps as one of my older strap lines had it: “the geek who speaks English”, but I am here for advice, to brain storm and help people trying to make sense of this new worold and discover quickly whether now reaily is the right time for you to move into a social media dimension for your business, or not yet. That is a key decision and one to think about BEFORE you spend money.

    Hi Neil, good to hear from you. Totally agree about whether it is right time or not or to spend money. The thing is that the longer you leave it the longer it will take. Even if you engage in nothing you need to be watching what people are saying about the industry you are in – even about you or your company. The thing to be aware of is online reputation management.

    As for spending money… in most cases it doesn’t cost any money at all. Time is the cost but this also gets ‘cheaper’ the more you know.

    The Key decision really to make is can you afford not to move into a social media dimension. I do recommend that you read the Hallmann guide. Link to the guide is top left… or the website on the right.
